Despite being in the other room she hears the knock loud and clear, sensitive ears picking up on the sound. Hurrying over, a tote bag in hand, she throws open the door, dressed in a simple frilly white dress and black flats, a determined look on her face. She offers Chuuya up a fanged grin, the tips of her teeth poking out over her lip. This may not be the first time she's met him (technically) but it is for him.]
[If he's said he's going to do something, Chuuya always, without fail, does. Though he's still not sure why someone would need help going to a dry cleaner's, he doesn't really mind keeping her company.
He knows almost nothing about her, though, except that she's a vampire of some sort. He looks her over for a second, taking in her appearance, then holds his hand out to take the tote bag from her.]
It's easy, you know. You just go and give them the dress, and they take care of it.
[Sometimes navigating places can be difficult and one can get easily lost in a place like Duplicity. Even so, he came to help her with such a mundane task - surely taking clothes to a dry cleaner wasn't something top mafia members had to do themselves often, or so she assumes.
She hands the bag over without hesitation once his hand is offered to take it, enjoying the show of gentility without her having to ask for it. Now that that's done there's no time to waste, but that doesn't mean they have to rush to get there either. She does want the company, after all.]
That's it? Really? [Makes sense. That's usually how obtaining services went.] Do you know how they do it? How do you clean something that's dry?
[Chuuya absolutely can get someone to take care of his dry cleaning, back home. Often he does, too, but he's not exactly helpless himself. He knows how it works. He hasn't always been a mafia executive. He had to manage completely on his own as a kid.]
I have no idea. They have some chemicals they use, or something. [He shrugs.] They'll make the dress as good as new, though.
[He starts leading the way. He doesn't know if there's any dry cleaners in the immediate area, but he knows of some a bit further away, so he just hopes she doesn't mind walking for a bit.]
[Diva's never had to manage on her own. She's always been controlled in one way or another, and while she's learned how to do certain things over the years, she's still quite sheltered overall.]
Well that's all that matters.
[That they clean up her dress and make it wearable again. Without complaint she follows Chuuya, a skip to her step as she trails alongside him. She doesn't mind walking at all. If anything, she enjoys the bit of exploration she's getting to do.]
Back before I came here it was my Chevalier who'd take care of me. Here though it was my dominant Adrian...but he's gone now.
[And she's still bitter that he's left her. Part of her misses him and the regulation he brought to her life. Even if she isn't contractless now, Tsurugi is definitely not one to really keep things as tidy. Let's just say he's not jumping at the chance to clean stains out of her clothes.]
