Dazai has quite a wealth of knowledge, and yet this is one area where he's genuinely unfamiliar. If he's heard of the concept of sub drop at all, he's certainly not taken it any kind of seriously, because... well, why would he? Having never experienced such a thing himself, he wouldn't have been surprised if it was made up.
But Chuuya wouldn't make it up, and the fact that it's bad enough that he would admit to having even considered bringing it up with Dazai, no matter how briefly, means it's very serious indeed. Dazai doesn't like it. Part of him wants to walk away, not enjoying the responsibility at all.
But he's not 15 anymore, so he may as well try to handle this at least semi-graciously. It's not like an adrenaline crash after intense sex is so strange, probably... not that he's had much experience with adrenaline rushes of any kind in recent years, but, yanno.]
